Drue Allen weaves an incredible tale that is entirely too realistic to be comfortable. Biological warfare is a very scary concept and The Cost of Love clearly shows how difficult it is to combat it. Dean had been an agent for some time and had seen more than anyone should in one lifetime. Lucy was new to the undercover game but was certainly up to the challenge. Together the two burn up the pages as they burn the midnight oil to solve the case, the same midnight oil we will burn to finish this book. Exciting and suspenseful as well as romantic and passionate, The Cost of Love draws in the reader on page one and keeps us there with surprises and suspense. Great job for Drue Allen on her first novel. This is one author to keep an eye on.

But as the mission progresses, Ani realizes she may be in over her head when her heart becomes involved. Will she be able to do her job and safeguard her heart?

Ani is a fantastic heroine. Adept with computer hacking and programing, she is also relatively naive when it comes to men. She brazened her way to a job and continued that ploy once hired. Richard was surprised at the depth of his feelings for Ani. Used to being the boss, he could not understand why she would not do as instructed, leading to some fun witty conversations.

Spy Game is entertainment at its best. The touch of danger and the unknown contrasts with the witty conversations and passionate loving to produce a novel that will tease your senses while keeping you on the edge of your seat. Sue Swift has penned another delightful tale with Spy Game.
