The Down Home Zombie Blues by Linnea Sinclair

"Linnea Sinclair's latest novel blasts on the scene as The Down Home Zombie Blues fills the readers' need for more of this talented author's work."

Commander Jorie Mikkalah arrives on earth to investigate the silence of one of their agents. Danjay Wain had been investigating zombies that had appeared in the beautiful Florida city of Bahia Vista. Finding him dead, Jorie and her team need to recover all his equipment to keep Earth’s knowledge of them a secret. This proves difficult when Homicide Detective Theo Petrakis takes off with evidence that Jorie must have. Everything goes wrong when zombies attack Theo, and Jorie is forced to save him and bring him up to her ship. Theo learns that Jorie and her team need to neutralize zombies centered in Florida. It seems they had been created to perform a service but the C-Prime, the one who controls the zombies, refused to respond to commands and the zombies went rogue many years ago. Theo remains cool when told he cannot return, but knows he is going to a part of the solution to this problem and not a spectator. Convincing Jorie of his usefulness, Theo returns with Jorie only to find himself stranded with her when they lose contact with the ship and with most of Jorie’s team. Now it is up to Theo and Jorie to save Earth from these monsters, and soon before they begin to reproduce again.

Linnea Sinclair’s recipe for success – undeniable passion, clever conversations and perilous situations, combine to produce another sensory delight with The Down Home Zombie Blues. You can’t help but fall in love with Jorie as she fumbles through English interpretations and word usage. For his part, Theo is the perfect match for her. Both dedicated to saving Earth, they work together in sync as a well oiled machine both in and out of bed. The perfect fusion of Sci-Fi and romance, Down Home Zombie Blues is a very satisfying read for fans of both genres. Linnea Sinclair triumphs again with The Down Home Zombie Blues.
