Review: BLOODY GOOD by Georgia Evans

"The first awesome book in the Brytewood trilogy…"

It is 1940 and a tiny village outside London may hold the key to a Nazi secret weapon. Several residents of Brytewood are “more than what they seem” and they intend to root out the evil sent by the Nazis and destroy it!

Dr. Alice Doyle professes not to believe in the Pixie lore her grandmother spouts, but she quickly changes her mind when it appears a vampire is in their midst. Alice teams up with her new assistant, Peter Watson, a conscientious objector, to discover the reason for several mysterious deaths and vicious attacks in the area. Though put off at first by Peter’s CO status, Alice soon gives in to their mutual attraction and sparks fly.

Talented Georgia Evens, aka Rosemary Laurey, combines paranormal elements with history in her engaging book BLOODY GOOD. She has created the perfect setting; a quaint village partially populated by patriotic supernatural beings. Various witches, pixies, dragons and shapeshifters are determined to rid their country of the traitorous Nazi vampires that have infiltrated their quiet life. What a compelling scenario! BLOODY GOOD has it all, including a war time romance that will tug at your heart. I suggest that you not miss a single book in this thrilling trilogy!
