Review: SECRETS OF A SHOE ADDICT by Beth Harbison

"Another story of a shoe addict…"

What could be more innocent? Three PTA moms accompany the middle school band to Las Vegas for the Battle of the School Bands when all heck breaks loose after the kids are in bed and the moms prowl the casino. About to be divorced Loreen Murphy discovers the handsome young man that picked her up in the hotel lounge turns out to be a very expensive male prostitute. Tiffany Vanderslice goes on a shopping spree which lands her in debt when she can’t return her purchases. And Abby Walsh is recognized by a man from her past and he proceeds to blackmail her for his silence. What are the women to do, especially when they discover that one of them has used the PTA credit card for their illicit expenditures?

In steps Sandra, the original shoe addict and Tiffany’s sister. She guides the friends on how to earn the money to pay off their debts by performing her former profession as a phone sex operator! What began as a huge debt turns into a huge secret that may be too big to keep under wraps. What will the PTA say now?

Hilarious high jinx kept me reading this classic Beth Harbin story. I knew when I picked up SECRETS OF A SHOE ADDICT that I would be in for a treat after reading SHOE ADDICTS ANONYMOUS. One riotous scene after another kept me laughing out loud and thoroughly entertained. Perfect light hearted fare for the long hot summer, read SECRETS OF A SHOE ADDICT by best selling author Beth Harbin.
