Loved this book! I vote Ashby as the most tormented alpha hero of 2007. Now I can’t wait for the twin’s story!

When I found out about this book coming out, i couldn’t believe it. I have been looking for a Regency romance about an officer that returns scarred from the Napoleonic war. Of course I preordered it even though I didn’t recognize the author. Having read it in one sitting, I can’t believe this is Ms. Sharon’s second book! The book is wonderful, written with the pen of a pro. The deep torment of the hero tugged at my heart. I don’t want to spoil it to those of you who haven’t read it before, but be prepared for powerful emotional scenes that will make you cry, really cry with tears! I loved the hero. Isabel, the heroine, was a delight. Good, strong & funny. This book is a must read!
