Review: Bachelor Untamed by Brenda Jackson
Ellie Weston had shared one hot kiss with her neighbor that left her wanting more. It never got a chance because Uriel Lassiter discovered she had initiated the kiss after being dared by her best friend. He stormed off and ten years have passed without Elllie seeing Uriel again. Now Ellie is back at the lake front house, the scene of that memorable kiss. She has now inherited the house from her great-aunt. Uriel Lassiter is back as well and the two find that the heat of that first kiss is still there, but Ellie is not sure she should explore that attraction. When Ellie finds her great-aunt’s unfinished romance novel, she reconsiders. Uriel is just the person to help her research and finish the novel. Uriel and Ellie agree to embark on a no-strings affair that looks like it is leading to more but what will Uriel think when he learns he was research for a romance novel?
Bachelor Untamed is a fun novel to read. The interaction between Uriel and Ellie fills the pages with romance both tender and hot. Ellie needs someone like Uriel and she is just what he needs. If only they can get beyond their surface motivations and misinterpretations of them. Another beautifully written and enjoyable love story from Brenda Jackson; Bachelor Untamed.
