Review: BEYOND THE NIGHT by Joss Ware

"BEYOND THE NIGHT begins an awesome new post-apocalyptic romance series from Joss Ware…"

Fifty years ago, Dr. Elliot Drake and his friends set out to explore the caves in Sedona.  Instead, the cave walls began to shake and the men fell into a deep fifty year sleep.  During that time the world, as they knew it, had been torn apart by unnatural disasters leaving buildings destroyed, land covered by oceans, populations erased and unearthly creatures stalking the night.  The friends stumble upon a frightening world having been altered with mysterious powers but not aging a day.  Though devastated by the revelations, the friends take one day at a time, learning about this new world and how to survive while searching for the reason for “The Change”.

Elliot meets Jade as his group travels to Envy, a large settlement in the old Las Vegas.  Jade grew up in this new world and has experienced the evilness behind the change first hand.  She is mistrustful at first but drawn to Elliot and the two soon find themselves working together to discover who caused the apocalypse.  Their instant attraction deepens to a passion that is all consuming.

You must read BEYOND THE NIGHT to find out just how wixy good it is!  Dynamic Joss Ware turns our world upside down with this first book in her post-apocalyptic romance series, The Envy Chronicles.   Vine covered ruins, dank dark passages and vast emptiness all come to life though the talented pen of Ms. Ware.  Her characters; buff, take-no-prisoners, hero Elliot Drake and strong, take-charge, heroine Jade, scorch the pages and leave the reader all a-puddle.  Add stranger danger, smelly gangas, action adventure, special powers, a new vocabulary and a quest to find the destroyers of the world and the reader will be panting to turn the page for more.  And speaking of more, since this is just the first book in the series we have more to look forward to.  Bring it on Joss Ware, your readers await!
