Review: SWORN TO PROTECT by DiAnn Mills

"A story straight from the US border…"

Border Patrol agent Danika Morales’s husband was murdered two years ago while he was helping illegal immigrants, something Danika was unaware of till his death.  Despite his perceived betrayal, Danika is determined to find his murderers.  When she and her extended family seem to be targeted by the same people that killed her husband, she pushes for answers.  Ironically, the one person she relies on turns out to be a former friend of her husband.  He is Alex Price,  a doctor who treats immigrants at the local clinic.

Alex and Danika have a tenuous relationship that deepens as trust is established.  They both want the border safe and to that end they work together, putting themselves in danger.  But as Alex knows, and Danika is slowly realizing, God is always with them.

Strong powerful characters with human doubts and a realistic plot with seamless flow, establishes SWORN TO PROTECT by talented author DiAnn Mills as an engrossing read.  The safety of US borders is a prominent concern today and the people that put their lives in danger daily to protect those borders is portrayed with sensitive insight by Ms. Mills. Informative and thoroughly entertaining, SWORN TO PROTECT by DiAnn Mills is a must-read book.
