Review: GIRL GONE NOVA by Pauline Baird Jones

"A dashing hero so hot that he makes the no-nonsense heroine forget herself and become all girlie."

Delilah Oliver Clementyne, Doc for short, is an enigma.  She can slip into various personas depending on the need, but mainly she is a dangerously lethal asset to the Earth military known as the chameleon.  Doc is on a secret mission in the Garradian Galaxy.  But her mission becomes complicated by her libido, wife-hunting aliens and shifts in time.

When Doc meets the leader of the Gadi, Helfron Giddioni, time stands still.  They recognize each other on a deeply profound level but before either can act, a string of events occur that put them both in danger from separate factions.  In the end, Doc and Helfron are brought together for one last chance to make things right for their worlds, but will there be a chance for them as well?

Mega-talented  Pauline Baird Jones has continued solving the mysteries in the Garradian Galaxy that she created in her book, THE KEY.  Complex characters, a driven plot and other worldly settings capture the reader from the beginning.   Helfron is a dashing hero so hot that he makes the no-nonsense Doc forget herself and become all girlie.  And I must get me some of those nanites, perfect for multitasking.  Ms. Jones’ writing reads like poetry.  Never a dull moment, GIRL GONE NOVA is replete with action and wit.   A must read for all lovers of Sci Fi romance!
