Review: Just Deserts by Brenda Jackson

Danielle Timberlake-Foster was devastated when her estranged husband died and she found out that she was not his only wife. Marc’s betrayal did not end there. Believing they were to reconcile and start a family, Danielle learns that Marc was sterile. Tristan Adams, her friend and confidant, has always been there for her. He offers her much in terms of support and comfort but can he also offer her that baby? Understandably reluctant after Marc’s hurt, Danielle is not sure she wants a full relationship with Tristan. Tristan who has loved Danielle for a long time knows he can give her everything she needs. She just has to be read y to accept him.
It would be hard to put yourself in Danielle’s place, learning your husband had married others. Brenda Jackson does an incredible job taking us into her mind. We cry with her and we celebrate with her as she works through all the issues in her life, particularly the last one. Tristan is amazing. Compassionate and loving, how can anyone resist him? The ending will really touch your heart. How is that? You will need to read this incredible book to find out. Just Deserts – another delightful book by a talented author – Brenda Jackson.
