Review: For Love and Vengeance by Johnny Ray

"For Love and Vengeance by Johnny Ray will take us deep into the world of espionage where you never know who to trust and trusting the wrong person could be the last thing you do."

Victoria is in Jacksonville FL to pass on some information.  The Russians and the Americans both think she works for them.  But Victoria has another boss – the Pack.  The Pack is an International Crime Syndicate whose current activity involves buying up properties as the real estate market falters.  Staging her death as a victim of a shark attack, Victoria seems to have made a complete getaway.  She did not count on Royce, though.  After spending an amazing night with her, Royce, a former special operative, does not buy the story of the shark attack.  He cannot seem to stop digging for the truth.

Royce spent years undercover as a surfing bum. One thing he knows is how to find the truth.  The more lies and layers he finds, the more determined he is to solve the puzzle.  The CIA knew nothing of his prior work and now Royce will not clue them in with this work.  He helped his country once and now he is helping himself.

Johnny Ray is an excellent storyteller with his ability to weave in the romance with the suspense.  Very descriptive, Johnny Ray takes us not only to Florida but also Russia and France.  And what a ride he takes us on.  Incredibly action packed, and filled with surprise twists, For Love and Vengeance will keep the reader on their toes as they follow along with Royce as he executes his investigation.  Royce is a very capable and competent hero while Victoria is just as amazing.  She has her own set of talents that make the ending a surprise twist.

Hop on with Johnny Ray and For Love and Vengeance and be prepared to be amazed at  the depth of the story and the surprises Johnny Ray has in store for us.
