Cecelia Finnegan finally has a comfortable, drug-free life when her ex-husband kidnaps her. Peter, Cecelia’s ex-husband, refuses to accept the divorce. Cecelia knows she must eventually trust someone and Jake stirs something inside her that she thought was dead. Ms. Agnew beautifully exposes the tortured lives of the two main characters as they grow closer together. Cecelia and Jake fill the voids in each other. Will they allow their love to mature?
