REVIEW: RAVISHED BY DEISRE BY BRENDA JACKSON

Knowing she has no choice, Shelly Brockman returns home with her son, AJ. Her first meeting with her old lover did not go as planned when Sheriff Dare Westmoreland arrests her son. Dare and Shelley share a hot past that is not over as the sparks ignite when they see each other again. But Shelley is only there to give her son a better chance off the streets of Los Angeles. She tells Dare that he is AJ’s father and that she needs his help with him. Dare is more than willing to take on the responsibility but he wants more. Shelley is not sure this is a good idea. She was hurt badly in the past by Dare and trust is not always easy to earn back.

Thorn Westmoreland has tried to ignore Tara Matthews. When he realizes that is not working, he decides to embrace that desire. He knows seducing her is the only way to get her out of his system. Tara though has been hurt before and is not sure she wants anything to do with Thorn who could also break her heart. Thorn is a force to be reckoned with and his plan to seduce Tara is proceeding perfectly until Tara decides to turn the tables on him. Now the casual affair Thorn is looking for turns out to be so much more, but is he too late to win the game?
