U.S. Marine Colonel Ashton Sinclair is used to getting what he wants and once he saw Netherland Brooms, he knew she was for him. Unfortunately for Ashton, she is proving to be more difficult than he anticipated. Nettie grew up on army bases and swore she would never marry a military man. Ashton is testing her resolve, though, with his determination and his ability to inflame her desires. For his part, Ashton is a patient man and plans for nothing less than Nettie’s full Surrender.
There is more to Surrender than just a love story. The plot surrounding their love is suspenseful and very touching with Ashton showing us the true meaning of hero. You can’t help but root for a happy ending for these two. They certainly deserve it. A powerful and intense tale, Brenda Jackson’s Surrender will have us all sighing and wishing we were one of the lovers. Another great job for Brenda Jackson.
