Over Hexed by Vicki Lewis Thompson

Magical relationship counselors, Dorcas and Ambrose are exiled to the small town of Big Knob, IN after one of their spells backfires. To return, they must get George the dragon to embrace his duties even if he may be ADD. They are unable to resist, though, continuing their matchmaking when Sean Madigan needs a change. He is just too sexy. Woman will not leave him alone. They follow him everywhere he goes. Tired of it all, he tells Dorcas and Ambrose to get rid of his sex appeal. The saying goes be careful hat you for; he gets what he wants but at the wrong time. Maggie Grady has arrived to buy property for her chain store and wants the same property he does, the property with the old house he used to call home. With sex appeal, Sean is sure he could convince her to his point of view. Without it, he must rely on charms he has never really had to use. Soon he wishes he had not gotten rid of his sex appeal as Maggie becomes more than just another woman.
Vicki Lewis Thompson has a true flair for humor. Using it to her advantage, she brings Sean and Maggie and all the resident of Big Knob to life. Sean is just a hard working guy whom women seem to flock to. Maggie is just trying to make a deal and keep her job. The two clash over the purchase of the property but not in the bedroom. The scenes they have together are priceless. You can’t help but laugh as Sean is bewildered as his appeal seems to come and go. The side characters are treasures. Dorcas and Ambrose and all the other residents of Big Knob make Over Hexed a joy to read from the first page to the last. Vicki Lewis Thompson is one writer on my auto buy list and that will never change. Pick up Over Hexed and be prepared to be amused, delighted and satisfied as Vicki Lewis Thompson takes you on an unforgettable ride.
